八极手法_Procedures to exercise the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints


一极为螺旋掌,二极为撩(锚)掌,三极为挑掌,四极为俯掌。 

一极至四极为腕关节运动;五极至六极为肘关节运动;七极至八极为肩关节运动。

四极手法最适宜用于连粘随三者,手动必先身动,身动必先腰动,使腰带动一切。必须使手和臂的动作如车轮那样圆,形成圈子一般。因为圆形动转较为灵敏,由含着连环不断的作用。


Eight extremes to exercise the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints:

1st extreme is spiral fore-arm;
2nd extreme is anchor Palm;
3rd extreme is picking Palm;
4th extreme is pitching Hand.

One to four extremes exercise wrist joint.  Five to six extremes focus on elbow movement. Seven to eight extremes train up shoulder joint.
